Membership Opportunities Opening up – Summer 2022

The Passion Project (PP) and the Passion Project Foundation (PPF or Foundation) have a long-standing objective to raise awareness of the benefits associated with creating positive social impact and help raise the standards of delivery to those who need help and support.

Our activities cover a range of initiatives designed to help assist each sector, public, private and not for profit, in fulfilling their individual operational and impact needs. In addition, we look to help the charity / not for profit sector become sustainable and the business / commercial sector become more authentically engaged with the community.

There is often a need to assist/reassure those organisations wanting to get involved in social impact activities of the value their participation will bring them. Many have misconceptions about potential obstacles that will be encountered in the process – these include such concerns as: – this will detract them from their core activities, cost them time and additional resources which are not available or other such concerns.

The development of a membership programme for both the commercial and charity / not for profit marketplace with an inbuilt sector-specific solution is one such solution. Whilst these programmes are designed to address very different user groups and often very different situations between the same user groups, the issues of concern tend to be aligned to a theme – those being around “resources”, “revenues” and “reputation”.

One consideration that is often overlooked is consumer “relevance”. Companies that are purely chasing profit to the exclusion of people, places and the planet are losing favour alongside those who are constantly asking for funding and are unable to sustain themselves by relying solely on donations.
