About the author

Dr Heath Grant is an expert in social and emotional learning and the correlation between law, society and juvenile violence prevention. Over the course of his career, Dr Grant has published a number of books, training manuals and articles on these subjects. 

Prior to his return as a full-time faculty member at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Dr Grant was the Director of Research for the Police Executive Research Forum, a leading Washington DC organisation dedicated to advancing law enforcement and crime prevention internationally. 

He is a Trustee of the Foundation.
